About the Book

Growing Pains is a glance into the trials, hardships, And the lessons of growing up. It is a journey of loss, Of revelation, and of hope. It is at sometimes naïve, And at other times sober and pivotal. It contains as many Questions about the changes we go through to reach Adulthood; as it does about life itself. It questions life with the curiosity of a child and causes us reflect upon the kernel of our youth. It takes us through a time in our lives when the curtains are lifted from our eyes and we see all; we see the world, we see our lives, and we see the lessons that we must learn. It is a work that examines the very root of what it is to be young. And it delves into our pain and struggle as we walk a path uncertain. As we begin to make choices that will affect the rest of our lives.

About the Author

Born in Augusta, Georgia in 1981, John Phillip Law resides in the small town of Statesboro. There he attends Georgia Southern University where he is pursuing His Bachelors degree in English with an Emphasis on Technical and Creative Writing. His other interests include film, production design, And screenwriting. In his spare time, he enjoys Being outdoors and restoring classic automobiles. He plans to pursue a career in writing. This book is to be his first of many to come.
