Mike's Journal is a coming-of-age story about a teenager, Mike, who comes to terms with the estranged relationship of his divorced parents and the death of a close relative.
The novella is based on a journal that the author kept for several months in 1972. Though names have been changed, the events are true.
About the Author
Donaldson Jensen was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee and raised in Texas and Michigan. He spent twenty years in the U.S. Navy and retired in 1993. Currently he resides in Jacksonville, FL and works for the United States Postal Service. He has done some free lance writing for the local newspaper, the Florida Times-Union.
