About the Author

A native of New Jersey, Caryn Connolly is an award-winning author of both poems and essays on various subjects. She has published many poems which can be found on poetry.com and has written an article on Asian romances which appeared in the April 2001 issue of Romantic Times magazine. Though her interests are wide-ranging, she has done extensive research into espionage and Chinese culture to lend this novel authenticity. Her respect for the people who face danger everyday to protect us shines through in her every word.
