About the Book
An Analytic History of Western Civilization is a composite of the lectures of John W. Follows in his course on western civilization at Hofstra University. It is unique in so far as it de-emphasized dates and incidents and instead focuses on the events and trends in our history which were most influential in bringing us to the state of our civilization today.
