About the Book

When Kathryn Thomas's parents are killed in an auto accident, she comes to live with her aunt, surgeon Ginny Tole.  They become inseparable companions until the high school senior is brutally raped and murdered.  The criminals are quickly apprehended, but Ginny's only consolation is the knowledge that they will be punished.

A judicial mistake frees the murderers.  It seems there is no remedy for this senseless crime, but Ginny Tole finds she cannot rest until the criminals are off the streets.  What happens when a single woman with no experience in the world of violence decides that justice cannot be denied?
