About the Book

A hundred years has passed since the mutiny of 2075. PAX FEMINA has consolidated its power. UNICOR Corporation, heavily invested in by PAX FEMINA, controls all off-world mining interests. The Terran Security Forces rule under PAX FEMINA’s Governor-Signet and her ruthless Marshall-General. Off-world colonies are patrolled by warships of the dreaded Colonial Fleet.

Earth has decayed. Global warming has caused coastlines to rise. Occupation centers are flooded. People are streaming into the upland cities in a desperate bid for survival. Neosapiens are cloned for slave labor in the Martian mines, and a new form of cloned being has been designed - the sinister Series-K drone. Ed Kinslow III earns a precarious living trading Callisto water-ice to mining colonies in the Inner System - and clandestinely trades fabled Callisto gold for info-chips with the renegade Clairemont University.

Learning of the colony’s existence, the Governor-Signet orders Admiral Candaroz to invade and conquer the Jovian System. With little to defend themselves, the Callisto Colonists must face overwhelming odds in their battle for survival.
