About the Author

Earle Lord has had a distinguished career in education devoting over thirty years to teaching and counseling in L.A. secondary schools. Thirteen of his short stories have been published in HItchcock's Mystery Magazine and he has published a religious novel, a mystery novel, and a novel about a Liberty Ship in the second world war. After retirement, Lord worked as a volunteer in the L.A. Olympic games and for fourteen years with the L.A.P.D. His hobbies are urban farming, astronomy, photography, senior tennis, and Elderhosteling. He has one wife, three children, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
