"The Crystal Woods of Other Worlds" being the second volume of the trilogy "The Arborillian Legends", follows Oliver´s early years as he develops his power and learns more about his destiny. The amusing charm of his natural life is changed as he journeys into the dangerous, sometimes tragic, but always incredible, world of the Arborillians.

The author, Royce I Ravel, is a doctor of medicine, a distinguished scientist and the author of landmark papers at the cutting edge of medical science. Some years ago, in the course of his work he encountered Oliver, a young man who presented with a condition seemingly appropriate for his particular specialist skills. What he discovered during the months and years of interviews and scientific investigations was to move him, amaze him and cause him to rethink many of his preconceptions about humanity and science. As is so often the case in science new ideas and discoveries are fought against and suppressed by the establishment who have built their careers and reputations on principles which would be threatened. As a result Dr. Ravel has resorted to an unconventional approach to publish and make known his extraordinary discoveries. With permission from the young man in question he now writes an account of the nature of the Crystal Arborillians in the hope that increasing awareness of these rare sorcerers will help them to find their place in the modern world and encourage young, open minded scientists and all of mankind to find ways to take advantage of the great power they have to offer.

About the Author

Royce I Ravel is a doctor of medicine and a scientist. He was born in England in 1956 and although now much travelled, still lives in that country. His experience of life, the world, fatherhood, his own childhood and of medical science, together with a passion to explore the limits of the known has allowed Dr. Ravel to offer a unique and compelling contribution to the world of childrens fantasy.
