About the Book

Written in a tongue in-cheek style, Bonnie St. Claire, working for an insurance agency as a claims adjuster, stumbles and gaffes her way through involvements with men and her mother, with detours for romance, which does not go smoothly, since two men and one woman do not make a couple. Another woman appearing on the scene is not the solution. She is dead!

The action is precipitated by two dogs who lead the romp for Bonnie, her lovers, her mother, a police chief and a troop of Thespian players through intrigue and ventures of daring, uncovering a drug ring.

The second murder occurs when Bonnie returning a briefcase inadvertently picked up with the victim’s things, enters the apartment, moments after the second victim is killed.

About the Author

Dorothy was born in Queens and attended New York City Schools. At the age of twelve she knew she wanted to be a writer. Her writing career began when she was published in the pulps, and in foreign magazines. This is her second book, the first, “Green Pastures”, was a fictional biography. She is now writing mystery novels while living with her husband, Rod in southern California.
