Join George and Nan as they circumnavigate the globe in 130 days, sailing over twenty-five thousand miles on the S.S. Ocean Explorer 1. The voyage visits the seven continents, twenty three countries, and thirty five ports. The millineum is celebrated in Santiago, Chile, and Christmas in the antarctic with the aid of zodiac landing craft designed by Jaques Cousteau.

About the Author

George and Nan Wescoombe were born a long time ago in Ontario, Canada. The Wescoombes emigrated to California in 1956 and have lived in La Jolla, Carlsbad, Palm Springs, Newport Beach and Indian Wells. Presently they live in a trailer park in Thousand Palms, near Palm Desert. Nan has been with George on most of his travels and her dry sense of humor keeps the old man in line.
