About the Book

In 1984, Samantha Hunt leaves St. Louis for a simpler life. Although her decision causes friction in her marriage, she moves into her country dream home with her two daughters. About the Author

The Hanging Tree is the fifth book authored by Missouri native, Sara Gursick. In addition to writing, Sara also enjoys both flower and vegetable gardening, reading and experimenting with new recipes. She likes to walk for exercise and views it as a relaxing way to gain insight and inspiration.
