About the Author

Penny Dickerson earned a BA degree in Journalism from Temple University and MFA in Creative Writing from Lesley University. Lyrical Soul is her 1st poetry collection and is an offering of varied free verse rhythms ranging from “Southern Sass to Emotions that Touch the Soul” Previous writings include freelance for the Florida Times-Union and her work has appeared in Mosaic, Philadelphia Stories, and Azure & Amber Anthology. She has taught high school and junior college English and currently lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her daughter, Kelsey Nicole.
