About the Book

Rooted in the ongoing and ever-changing interplay of the author’s life and mother tongue, the poems in this anthology touch on a variety of themes, including spirituality, intimacy, identity, loss. Some of these poems are based on poetic material written by the author in the late 1960s, while some of the poems are entirely new. These poems invite the reader to embark on a journey not unlike life itself, a journey of meaning making.

About the Author

Charles Schlee has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Kansas with specialization in the philosophy of language. Dr. Schlee wrote his dissertation on Bertrand Russell’s theory of definite descriptions and has done extensive research in the area of philosophical semantics.
