About the Book

Truman Dayon Godwin is a versatile writer who has five published books to his credit: The Heritage of Luke, 666, and The End of the Row, all novels; The Treasure of Chama Valley, a book of short stories; Tinker Carlen, An Original Cricket, a short biography of a band member and singer on the original Buddy Holley band. Truman Godwin is a Korean War Veteran, and he spent 52 years in the Telecommunications business before retiring. His favorite diversions are golf and spending time with his family. This book is a collection of poems gleaned from his works in poetry since he was a teenager. His poetry stresses people and their characteristics—both good and bad—and in that sense is timeless and applicable to any age. He is especially fond of his epic poem, Edenova, which is included in this collection.
