About the Book

Flowers Of Wisdom is a collection of poems inspired by intense contemplations regarding life and history, among other things. There’s a vast range of emotion to be found here from profound expressions of joy in existence to more melancholy meditation concerning the many struggles of humanity, as well as sharp observations regarding the mortal tendency towards folly on both the the personal and national level and a celebration of the erotic side of nature, the latter containing considerable humor in some cases. You’ll also find affirmation of the powers and beauty of love and its perennial companion, that enduring vein of romanticism which never pales, regardless of how much it’s bled. About the Author

William M. Head was born in New York City in 1965 and moved to Pompton Lakes, NJ in 1980. He graduated from Pompton Lakes High School in 1983 and then later attended William Paterson University, from which he graduated in 1994 with both a B.A. in History and Teacher Certification. Mr. Head has had avid interests in history and literature since childhood and he’s currently working on a novel of historical fiction concerning the Norman Conquest of England, in addition to pursuing his poetic endeavors.
