About the Author

Pat Offerman, nee Kolak, was raised in Chicago, IL. Parents: Frank and Aileen. Sisters: Frances (Tertell) and Marge (Bohac). She lived in Downers Grove/Lisle area with her Husband and twins Phil and Amy. She now resides in the Crystal Lake/Cary area near her daughter’s family Brian, Breanna and Kara Wright. Phil teaches school in Hawaii. Her children and friends enjoyed Pat’s poems and encouraged her to gather them in a book. Her friend, Mary McCartan suggested the title and her friend, Dolores Foley shared Pat’s poems with others and is credited with the idea of adding “to share with friends” to the title.
