About the Author

Margaret McCue Rogers was born and raised in Chester, Pa. She was educated in all Catholic schools. She now resides in Houma, La. She and husband, Roy, raised 3 children. They have 5 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Margaret was appointed to the Tourist Commission by La Secretary of State Fox McKeithen, and to the Board of Historical Sites by Governor Murphy Forester. She spends her days on the computer, sewing and quilting. Theresa Barney Forestell was born and raised in Portland, Maine. She was educated in parochial schools. She and her husband, Jim, raised 4 children. She has 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She has been active in The Irish American Club, and many others, for which she has received many awards. She recently made Foxhole Pillows, which were given to servicemen on their way to the Middle East.
