About the Book

The One Day at a Time devotional is designed to offer a practical discipline of prayer for to those who are seeking a regular spiritual encounter with the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. This devotional formatted with a daily reading from the Word of God; a revelation from the Son of God, a daily response from the disciple’s heart back to God and a page for reflection after seven days to record and reflect upon the changes and challenges to live a better life for God. In brief, this daily devotional of 140 days simply seeks to prime the spiritual motivation of the reader as believer to produce one’s own prayers and to develop a daily discipline of communing with God.

About the Author

Harold D. Lewis, Sr. is a native of Greenwood, Mississippi where he was cultivated, educated, and motivated in fundamental Christianity. Harold D. Lewis, Sr. is the third of six children born to Ms. Katie M. Jones and co-raised by his late faith-filled grandmother, Mrs. Geneva R. Jones. Harold D. Lewis, Sr. is the pastor of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church in Washington, DC. Harold D. Lewis, Sr. holds degrees from Tougaloo College, Tougaloo, Mississippi, and Gammon Theological Seminary of the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Harold D. Lewis, Sr. is married and he and his wife, Janet is the proud parents of seven god-given children. Harold D. Lewis, Sr.’s personal coined philosophy on life is “Never let anyone else’s negative opinions of you become your reality.”
