Little Leaf's Prayer

“Mother Maple, said Little Leaf, “Jesus is really great isn’t he?” “Yes he is,” she said. “Is it true that he hears all our prayers?” “Yes, that’s true Little Leaf. God loves everyone. He loves all of his creation.” “Even me, he asked.” “Even you,” she said.

Little Leaf longs to play with the children. Mother Maple tells him that all things are possible with God.

So, Little Leaf says this simple prayer,” Dear God that made the sun, the sky, the birds that fly, I really love these little children. Please help me find a way to play with them. I don’t even know how God, but I know nothing is impossible with you, Amen.”

A hope is born, a request is made, and then patient waiting begins. How will God answer Little Leafs prayer?
