About the Book

Blinded is a collection of poems that express feelings that people go through on a regular basis. At many points the theme is desperation due to the fact that something precious has been lost or stolen. After this has happened what is left for you? how do you start over again when you know that what you had was the best thing as well,as a one of a kind? The pictures allow you to better understand the emotions that the words are trying to depict. At some point in a person’s life people are uncertain or feel out of control. A lucky few regain control and that is the note on which this book ends.

About the Author

Alison Gordon is from Canarsie in Brooklyn, New York where she attended Boys and Girls High School as a computer science major. Both of her parents are from Jamaica, W.I. and she is the youngest of six children. After High School Alison moved to Pennsylvania where she attended Temple University, where she later graduated with a Bachelors degree in nursing.
