The important aspects of disease is early diagnosis, proper treatment and prevention of spread. To be successful requires an educated professional group and an educated public. The public seeks help when abnormalities appear and if a proper diagnosis is rapidly male and proper treatment given complications might be eliminated. Prevention is best and is possible only if all are properly informed This book is written to inform the average person about diseases that are transmitted with intimate (sexual) contact.

About the Author

The following are items that might be of interest about me. 1. I served as an antisubmarine officer in the navy during World War II. 2. I have degrees in Pharmacy and Medicine specializing in Dermatology. 3. I taught Dermatology to Residents at the Department of Dermatology in the Naval Hospital in San Diego for many years. I also did some research there especially in fungal diseases. 4. Practiced Dermatology in Provo, Utah after retiring from the navy (1943- 1999) 5. I have worked with young people for many years and know the past and present feelings and habits of this group of individuals.
