About the Book

COMEDIA is a book about time, the emotions of time and the metaphors of time. It describes the cycle of the year in terms of the human heart: the year being the ideal paradigm or pattern of all human experience.

About the Author

Kevin McGRATH was born in southern China in 1951 and was educated in England and Scotland; he has lived and worked in France, Greece, and India. Presently he is an associate of the Sanskrit Department and poet in residence at Lowell House, Harvard University. Recent publications include Fame (1995), Lioness (1998), Maleas (2002), The Sanskrit Hero (2004), Flyer (2005), and Stri (forthcoming, 2008). McGrath lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts with his wife and two children.
