year in the Owens Valley.

So goes my journal entry on that winter day in January 2005, looking out over a snow covered landscape, with clouds offering another gentle dose of the white stuff.
For the past twenty years or so, I’ve been drawn to places like – the Hawaiian Islands, Owens Valley, CA, Mt Rainier and the surrounding forests, in the state of Washington, different parts of Nevada, Utah and Colorado.
This book contains only a small collection of the myriad of images I’ve taken in these areas. There is a grandeur, vastness and awesome feeling of nature for me in these places. They connect with something inside; something which draws me back time and again.
