About the Author

N A D H A H A S S E N currently lives in Toronto, Canada. She has enjoyed working with children from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances. Her experiences inspired her to write a children’s book. She hopes that this book spreads the message that everyone, no matter how young or not-so-young, has challenges in life that must be overcome and reminds readers that no one is alone in facing this. Her belief that life is what we make of it has allowed her to overcome many adverse situations. She wrote this book as a reminder to herself and to others that life is for living. A phrase she always reminds herself of is: “Don’t wait to be happy, just be happy.” Nadha enjoys reading, painting, sketching, baking, travelling and of course, dancing in the rain.
