At the same time keeping their family intact and the love balanced amongst all the children. The grandparents, the church, and the school community are also integral to the survival of the Tomlinson family. In the end, it is the Christian principles and discipline, but moreover love that pulls the family through.

About the Author

Herman McKoy was born in St. Ann, Jamaica. Growing up with nine siblings, aunts, grandparents and a host of cousins, has given him valuable experience in understanding the complexity of family life. These experiences have enabled him to give an accurate portrayal of a fictional family in this his first novel. Herman has been involved in writing over many years and is the head of the publication department at the True Witness Church of Jesus Christ (Apostolic) Inc. Paterson, N.J. He is also a teacher and counselor to many. He and his wife, Madge, reside in Elmwood Pk., New Jersey and have three children and two grandchildren
