About the Author

Karma Sellers Burtenshaw is the six of ten children. She was born and raised in a rural farm area and attended schools in Rigby, Idaho. She met in husband in an Idaho potato field and in 1970 she married Craig A. Burtenshaw. They are parents of six children and currently the 18th grandchild was born Feb 2010. Karma and her husband Craig lived in the Philippines 2005-2008 as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The love of the people and memories of their beautiful country will always hold a special place in their hearts.
