About the Book
We have all had some trials and tribulations in our lifetime, the way we choose to handle these trials will determine how we see ourselves when we look in the mirror. We can see shame or triumph, success or failure, pain or healing, and love or lost. Some people experience one or two of these tragedies in their lifetime; near death, child molestation, rape, drug use, mental abuse, bad relationships with women, men, family, and the so-called friends . . . My life has had a taste of them all and some. I wish to take you through my journey so you will never have to ask that fatal question, Why Me? After reading my story, you will have become part of the lessons being learned and will witness the blessings that surely followed. As my story goes on, you may also wonder why would I continue to put myself through this? Their called “Distractions,” the things of the world we just can’t seem to let go that they tend to pull us back in every time. Once you’re finish reading my story, I hope and pray you will look deep into your own lives to see what you can learn or gain from the trials and tribulations you go through. In the end, understanding what your purpose here on earth is to be or not be. . . . “God saw me through it, because He has something better for me to do”. Yours Truly, Lonnie Mack.
