About the Author

Christie Miras, the author of The First Christmas Day, lives in upstate New York , is married and has raised nine wonderful children. Now that all the children have left the nest, she is embarking on a new career as an author of children’s books. After having read hundreds of books to her own children, she believes she knows what stimulates a child’s interest in learning. She believes that if you can make reading enjoyable it will open an array of opportunities for the life-long success of a child.
