About the Author

Sara Mullins Dollar is now 85 years old. She lived the stories in this book, went on to marry a young man just home from WWII, and raised three children. She and her husband James were married almost sixty years at his death. She worked for many years as a scrub tech. helping deliver babies. This was very fulfilling work for her, because of her love for children and helping others. She has resided in Tennessee and Michigan, and now makes her home with family in Louisville, KY. Many family and friends have been privileged to listen to these stories of her youth. Now they have been written down to share with everyone.
