About the Book
The story of “PJ” is about a little dragon who is very different from anyone else in his village, in that he breathes water instead of fire. During the story, he finds the courage to overcome family disappointment, peer ridicule and his own fears about being different. In the end he becomes the village hero and discovers that “being different is a good thing”.
About the Author
Gary is from the small town of Adel, in Southern Georgia. He enjoys a career as a Registered Nurse, and has over 22 years of experience in the medical profession. On his off time he enjoys riding motorcycles, Horseback riding, reading and most recently writing. He writes poetry, short stories, story poems, commentary and children's books. "Petey" is his second published book in a series of three. It is with his highest hope that it will be just and enjoyable to all who read it as it was to write.
