About the Author
Carolyn Diane Smith was born in Knoxville, Tennessee. She spent her youth and much of her adult life in Chicago, Illinois, weathering the storms of nature and of life. Her first writing was a short story about the death of her daughter, her youngest child. She still shares life with her husband, her mother, three sons, and their thriving families, along with a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Smith resides in Nesbit, Mississippi, with her husband and mother.
