About the Book
John Jon the Jealous Jaguar tells the tale of a little, jungle-dwelling jaguar whose jealousy is fueled by fear and insecurity. Through a series is interactions with his jungle friends, John Jon discovers the source of his own jealousy. He is taught a very valuable life lesson on how to recognize and deal with the attitudes, emotions, and feelings that produce jealous behavior. He learns how to ask for the help he needs so he can keep things like anger, jealousy, and greed out of his heart. The book includes a glossary and a “Let’s Talk About It” section for parents and teachers to reinforce the lesson with their children.
About the Author
Mike is a native of the state of Delaware. He has lived the majority of his adult life in the southern region of the United States. Currently he resides in St. Petersburg, Florida with his wife. He graduated cum laude from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida with a bachelor of arts degree. He has a passion in investing in future generations by writing and illustrating children’s books that teach valuable life lessons. When not working, writing, or illustrating, he spends his time with his wife, Lorena; family, and friends, enjoying life along the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast.
