About the Book

I’m an average person just like everyone else that rides the buses of Indianapolis, Indiana. God put into my heart the desire to write about the bus system three years ago. I ride the bus because I have never gotten my driver’s license, and I don’t know yet how to drive. And yes, I am willing and able to drive. I think, even when I do start driving, I will also still continue riding the bus sometimes, and the reason why? It’s relaxing sometimes. I see different people on the bus. I hear a lot of conversation on the bus, either on the phones or between passengers. Riding the bus seems so exciting and, some days, seems so funny, crazy, and happy. I meet a lot of people on the bus and at the bus stop. It’s kind of nice hearing other people’s problems when one is going through a problem himself or herself. It just lets others who are going through a problem know that they are not alone. Sit back, relax, and read. You might just know some of these people mentioned in this book. Have a blessed day.

About the Author

My name: Barbara A. Martin Born: Chicago, Illinois Mom and Dad: deceased (live with both parents) I am the middle child—three girls and two boys. All grown-up now. I have three beautiful daughters. I belong to Christ Our Healer Church, where Pastor Michael Kenon and copastor Dr. Annette Kenon teach and preach the true Word of God. I worked at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Castleton Mall for eight years. I went to Lincoln College right after I had my firstborn child, a girl, Latoya L. Martin. While I was there, I lost my father, so I missed days at the college. So I did walk across the stage with only a diploma, but I wanted a degree. So after I went through some trials and tribulation, I attend Ivy Tech, graduated in 2010 at the age of fifty, with my associate degree in human service. Now God directed me to write. I write instead of keeping in my heart. Like I said in my book, I’m just an ordinary person speaking truth and feeling in my heart. Enjoy reading the book. It helps with the eyes, and thank you.
