About the Author

My name is Alford Brock. In closing, on my next birthday, I will be sixty-eight years old. This is my first attempt at writing. I was born in 1945. I have fifteen siblings. There were seven boys and eight girls. All my sisters are still alive, but three of my brothers are gone to be with the Lord. Our mother is still here and yet, at the wonderful age of eighty-eight, is still in her right mind. I thank God for giving me Everlean for a mother and for giving me Lorraine for a wife. And last but not least, I’m grateful to my children for sharing me with the world I have walked in.
