Jealously, I looked at Bluey. He was getting all the attention. Look at them, two grown women laughing and carrying on over a little bird. What a sight for sore eyes was this. “Oh Bluey! He’s playing with my earring again. It tickles,” giggled Elise. “He’s having a wonderful time on your shoulder,” chuckled Carol. “Ah, look at him now! He’s running all over you.” “Hello, I am here. I am your cat. My name is Cuddles. Remember me!” As I deliberately brushed alongside Carol, I expressed my complaints, but they fell on deaf ears. First of all, why wasn’t I consulted first before you brought this intruder home? Don’t I get a say around here? I thought I was an important member of the family. Now I know where their loyalties lie. So, why are there now two of us? Well, there’s not going to be a Number Two. No, no, no, and I’ll make sure of that. This can’t continue. I’m going to put a stop to this mumbo jumbo at once.

About the Book
This is a delightful, funny, and amusing story for the young and the young at heart told through the eyes of Cuddles, a cat who thinks he's the centre of attention and likes to think he controls what happens at his house. One day, unexpectedly, his owner’s sister arrives home with the classroom bird, Bluey. Instead of being thrilled, the jealous cat starts planning for the bird’s going away party. He feels his comfortable lifestyle is interrupted and designs a scheme to see Bluey go.
About the Author
Trish Rinia I was born in Queensland, Australia and started writing children's stories in 2016. I have created original stories hoping to pass on a love of reading and appreciation of literature, bringing joy and delight to both parents and children. It was my intention to bring parents and children together with the hope of building and strengthening the bonds of love, respect and understanding that would lasts a life time. My stories are rollicking good fun, whisking the readers away to a world of magic and imagination. The characters do not always have an easy time though, and must meet life's challengers and difficulties and try to overcome obstacles at every turn.
