The book covers the period from its early days in the 1840s through a volatile temperance movement in the 1870s right up to the demise of the man who had instilled the Portsmouth Brewing Company into the history of Ohio.
About the Author
William M. Cullen, a native of Portsmouth, Ohio, currently lives in nearby Greenup, Kentucky. Mr. Cullen is a graduate of Shawnee State University, located in Portsmouth, with a bachelor’s degree in usiness; plus, he also holds an MBA from nearby Marshall University, located in Huntington, West Virginia. In his spare time, Mr. Cullen enjoys traveling and learning about our nation’s unique history.
