About the Book
Jack Martin and Sarah Martin with their two children, William and Melissa Martin, lived in Windy Valley, Riverland. The river flows through the valley, across the woodlands. Windy Valley is the valley of beautiful farms and fields. The Martin’s generation lived in this valley for many years, farming. The Martin family is well known in this amazing valley. Their nearest busy town is the town of Greenville with its market, beautiful parks, and gardens. Windy Valley shares its river with the town of Greenville. Jack Martin’s family owns the faraway fields, with a nearby cool stream flowing among the rocks. Near the children’s play area is a little duck pond. The story begins when Bill and Mel, his sister, met a half boy and a half telly called George. He was all alone in a tree house. Telly George is a runaway telly, who happens to be in some child’s tree house. Bill and Mel became friends with Telly George. Their new friend went home with them and their adventures began. Let’s find out what Bill, Mel, and Telly George are getting up to.
About the Author
Elizabeth Barnes grew up in a family of nine Children. Part of her family originated from Maryland, USA and Maryland, Republic of Liberia, West Africa. Her extended family lived in America, Africa and Europe. She once lived in America, Liberia, West Africa and now London, England. She attended both American and African system of Schooling as a girl. She graduated from High School and University as a Primary School Teacher. She was once a Choir Girl. She also attended girl’s clubs, girls summer camping and singing with her elder sister. Elizabeth Barnes is a School Teacher who worked with Nursery age groups, Kindergarten or Reception, Lower School or Infants and Middle School or Top Infants. A Classroom Teacher, who made other time for respite with the children. She engaged in other free interesting activities, such as; sitting in a circle with songs sheet, learning to sing song that enabled them to learn how to read, write, and spell words and know the meaning of those words. She taught them to create their own artwork. She worked with children both in Liberia, West Africa and London, England. She also worked in a playgroup her younger son attended. Preparing wonderful activities for the children. She worked in a DayCare School for six months, a very interesting experience. She enjoyed making Craft work with the children, learning songs, rhymes, playing games and dancing. Learning activities, setting up the play areas with toys. She also taught the children social skills and going on outings with other parents and their children. As a girl, she enjoys writing, she wrote little children's stories. She wanted to be a writer some day. In the 2002 she finally got her writing break when she attended College and got on a coures to write for children. The Runaway Telly George, was the story she wrote to gained her Writing for Children Certificate. She also study Fine Arts (Painting and Printing), a year of Illustration and drama. Her hobbies are: Singing. Dancing, Songwriting, Composing, Being Socialable and Travelling.
