About the Book

Open the Door to Love is a collection of poetry and photographs that each parallel the personal story being written. It is about a young Christian woman’s journey in struggling with homosexuality and wrestling with God to figure out his will. It is the first chapter from this author and focuses on what it looks like to open the door to love, ranging from God to families, friends, lovers, and herself.

About the Author

Paola Roa is a writer, poet, photographer, musician, and athlete. She is also a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, whom she dedicates all of her work to. She is an activist determined to bridge the gay community and the church. She has a website called Butterfly Project, in which she hopes will be a place where people are informed with the struggles homosexuals endure, and a refuge for those who are suffering.
