Release Me

A few months passed faster than they could imagine. They forgot about praying and following their plans. Insatiable thirst for more material things influenced their minds. Knowing that God was their Provider, they were convinced that they wanted more material wealth. Making more money encouraged their greed. Savings were depleted because they had an impulsive desire to buy more expensive items. Friends invited them to socials with others with the same greedy attitudes. They liked and wanted more invitations and gifts from wealthy friends. These were new friends who did not value the Christian values. The sin of idolatry tempted the family values. Luke 12:15 (NKJV) warns the greedy., “And He said to them, ‘Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses.’”"
