Prologue:

This is the Golden Gate of Triumph when written without hesitation with the hope that readers will find on each page a fountain of spiritual teachings that do not affect the faith of those who live in the Love of God. There are two kinds of writers: Those who write for life and those who write for the soul. At each point, there is the suspense of joy that produces a fountain of clear, unbound knowledge without the hypocrisy that often clouds the intrinsic form of spontaneity. Here we are not making a worldly analysis but a spiritual euphoria that will leave in each life the balm enough to transform the soul. These verses, like this index, are not mine; they are inspired by God in my long nights of Worship and Hope. I know there are and will be great skeptics because to believe in it, one needs to be close to God and to understand that divine power cannot be wrong by giving the world what is not the soul’s balm. “Here, end my words, and I begin my poems,” says the Lord.

Es la puerta de oro del triunfo cuando se escribe sin remilgos con la esperanza puesta en que los lectores encuentren en cada página un manantial de enseñanzas espirituales que no afecten la fe de aquellos que viven en el amor de Dios. Hay dos clases de escritores: los que escriben para la vida y los que escriben para el alma. En cada punto se encuentra el suspenso de la alegría que va produciendo un manantial de conocimientos claros, redondos, sin huecos de hipocresía que es la que enturbia la mayor aparte de las veces la forma intrínseca de los espontáneo. Aquí no se está haciendo un análisis mundanal sino un euforia espiritual que dejará en cada vida el bálsamo suficiente para transformar el alma. Estos versos como este índice, no son mío; son inspirado por Dios en mis largas noches de adoración y esperanzas. Sé que hay y seguirá habiendo grandes escépticos, porque para creer en ello se necesita estar bien cerca de Dios y saber que el poder divino no puede equivocarse dándole al mundo lo que no sea el bálsamo del alma. - “Aquí terminan mis palabras y doy comienzo a mis poesías”, dice el Señor.

About the Author

Celina Llamas de Martínez Martelo has pursued the genre of narrative with true vocation. She has written several stories; one of them “Three Shadows for a Dead, has been kindly granted for publication in “Letters”.

Her love for the fine arts took her to Madrid with her husband, Luis Henrique Martínez-Martelo and her four children. After the death of her beloved husband she returned to Colombia. She also lived in Florida and New York.

Her faith, patience and great understanding towards the human race fused in her a great love for humanity.

In Celina Llamas de Martínez-Martelo there is a true promise of the new Colombian narrative.

Celina Llamas de Martínez Martelo Ha insistido con verdadera vocación el género de la narrativa. Ha escrito varios cuentos, uno de ellos “Tres Sombras Para Un Muerto” ha sido cedido cariñosamente a la publicación “Letras”.

Su amor por las bellas artes la llevo a Madrid con su esposo Luis Henrique Martínez-Martelo y sus cuatro hijos. Después de la muerte de su esposo volvió a Colombia. También vivió en Florida y en Nueva York.

Su fe, paciencia y gran entendimiento hacia la raza humana fundió en ella un gran amor hacia la humanidad.

En Celina Llamas de Martínez Martelo hay una verdadera promesa de la nueva narrativa Colombiana.
