About the Book
Beginnings follows the journey of a young black girl named Pumkin, whose writing served as healing and therapy. Despite losing a Mom, her cheerleader, not once but twice, then being raised up by her Dad and her older brother, who were heroes to her, she triumphed over adversity, overcoming anxiety with guidance from a higher source.
About the Author
Mary is married to Willie, mother to Reginald, Rena, Willie Jr., educator at GCSD, host to grands, great grands, family and friends. Director of NABS, license barber, master stylist and cosmetologist over 25 years. Studied Business in CUNY.
