About the Book

The ‘Butterfly Girls’ is a story of three young school going girls, who are also best friends. The story brings out their differences and strong personalities which also go on to create conflict between them. But their friendship eventually wins, when they learn how to move past the insignificant things.

About the Author

Amal is a fourth grader and a mad reader. She started with picture books as a baby and gradually grew on reading. Given the number of books she practically inhales, last year her mum challenged her to read 1000 books. Not only did Amal read way more books than that, she also ended up writing her first book at eight years of age. Amal wrote her book because reading all those books made her come up with a story. But she published the book to inspire and encourage people that no story is too small to tell, and no writer is too young to write. Amal also likes music, swimming, drawing and learning new make-up techniques.
