About the Book

“In Hope & Grace” Journey alongside Pastor Adonis who, after a car accident, trades his pulpit for the darkness of a coal mine, seeking solace amidst the depths. Meanwhile Leo, reeling from personal tragedy, embarks on a solitary quest for healing and understanding, strengthening his faith in the process. Lastly, enter Zavier, a tormenting arsonist whose vendetta against a church leads to unexpected reconciliation, when the congregation chooses forgiveness over resentment – not once but twice. These three intertwining tales explore themes of forgiveness and the transformative power of faith in the face of adversity. Each character navigates their own crucible, discovering that redemption often emerges from the most unlikely of places and how God’s grace extends even to those who seem furthest from it. “Hope & Grace” is a testament to the enduring strength found in belief and the miracles that unfold through acts of compassion and forgiveness.

About the Author

Jay Embee has been attending church since he was a young boy and ironically enough, it was at the age of fourteen, during a Christian youth group, where his writing career began. At first a writer of poetry, Jay eventually branched off into Christian literature by leaning further into his faith. Originally hailing from Colorado he currently resides in the great state of Texas. He is also in the early stages of writing his second book. Lisa Embee is an insurance agent by day but a pet sitter by night. She also loves to climb fourteen thousands foot mountains and travel to interesting locales around the world. Her belief in Jesus is strong and this book has served to strengthen her faith. In between splitting her time in Arizona and Florida, she is blessed enough to call Colorado her home. At this time Lisa has no plans for a second book.
