About the Book

"How the Naked Ape Got to the Land of Nod" is the story of family members . . .

stumbling their way to alcoholism - - losing sight of how much they value each other - - and awakening one day to find that they are not sure what hit them

learning that the way to recovery is uneven - - marked by cynicism, judgment, tragedy, humor, and ultimately by forgiveness.

The book is an experiment in form and content. Its pages are designed to be turned rapidly by family members whose powers of concentration have been blurred by alcoholism.
