About the Book
William Walker grew up on a farm in rural North Carolina. He suffered a broken leg at the age of eight, and missed time from school. This accident turned out to be a blessing. With his mother’s help, he became a proficient reader while he was laid up. When he returned to school, his teachers were amazed, and placed him in advanced classes each year. He was accepted into college before he finished the eleventh grade. Currently, Mr Walker is a manager for the City of Philadelphia. In his spare time, he is working on two fiction novels.
