About the Book

Children gain sight recognition of the letter “N” when it is printed in red throughout the text of the book. Narrator Ned tells the story of the day his world had changed when the letter “N” was missing. He was now named "Ed". "Pine trees" became "pie trees". "Sand" became "sad". His journey to locate the letter “N” becomes a fun-filled search as children realize how words become different when a single letter is removed. Will Ned ever find his letter friend? About the Author

I live in Connecticut with my husband, Steven and our two daughters, Maria, and Luisa. I have always enjoyed being with children because I like seeing the world through their innocent eyes. When I worked as a professional clown named “Dazey”, I entertained children of all ages. Whether I was at birthday parties or volunteering for organizations like United Way or American Heart Association, nothing rejuvenated my spirit like a child’s smile. Children are curious by nature and find humor in the simplest of things. This is my inspiration for writing.
