About the Author

The author, Randolph James, a native New Yorker, is a thirty-year veteran of the school system, having served as an administrator, a dean, an English teacher, and a renowned basketball and baseball coach in the system that educated him. Mr. James currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina. Love in the Classroom: A New York Story is a novel about five New York City educators and their search for meaningful and loving relationships as they struggle with the trials and tribulations that they face while working in the world’s largest school system.
