About the Book
A Road to Harmony is a collection of poems written over a span of fifty years. The Haiku poems chosen for this book reflect the author’s love of nature; the free-verse poems are drawn from life experiences, some of which are on the serious side, some whimsical. A Road to Harmony is intended to be a relaxing, enjoyable read for anyone who may happen to find the book in their hands.
About the Author
Barbara Hunter is retired and currently living in Central Florida. Since age four, Barbara has enjoyed the outdoors and at age nine began writing poetry. Besides writing poetry, her other hobbies include reading, writing plays and short stories, skeet shooting, fishing and gardening. She is a native of Des Moines, Iowa and lived there until age four when her family moved to San Francisco, California. Barbara enjoyed everything the San Francisco Bay Area had to offer. She has also lived in Arizona, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. She has one daughter and one grandson. One of her poems has been published in the American Poetry Anthology 1982
