About the Book

This manuscript is finally rising from its sepulcher, revivified some six years after its initial transcription. Very shortly after my mother´s death in May 1995, in an effort to consecrate her memory, I pledged to edit, transcribe and publish a long series of religious articles she had written, over a period of some ten years, for weekly newspaper publication.

The extended gap between that time and this owes principally to personal trials in my own life that consistently subverted my efforts. There were many, many times when I despaired ever being able to breathe life into this corpus. However, with the unstinting encouragement of a redoubtable counselor and friend (and by the unfathomable grace of God), I can finally vindicate my promise. Thank you Mom.

Part II of this text consists of the articles above to which I refer. Part I is my mother´s own testimony of how Christianity helped her eschew personal confusion, and to salvage and resurrect her life.

About the Author

I am not a writer, nor a student of journalism; neither am I a scholar of the fine arts and sciences; but I am a child of God, with the wonderful message of salvation to convey to all who will hear. I believe God wants me to tell others what a wonderful work He has performed in me by giving me His precious gift of eternal life. I also believe that there are countless numbers of others who are LOST IN THE CHURCH, just as I was.
