About the Book
Katie Thompson marries at eighteen. A shy virgin chastity bound by her religious upbringing, she realizes just moments after her wedding that the marriage was a mistake. She endeavors to be a Godly wife, but even within the strength and sanctity of a God inspired commitment to faithfulness, human frailty prevails. Not one, but two adulterous affairs kick off a series of events that swallow her up in their gravity, trample her with guilt and despair and lead her to a point of near death. A remarkable resolution leaves the reader with renewed faith in the power of love and forgiveness, both Divine and mortal.
